Our team
Founder Carter Hemion (any/all pronouns) is the heart of Cattail Communication. They are a media professional, speaker, author, artist, and jack of all trades interested in learning as much as they can.
They take action through writing, public speaking engagements, event organizing, creating artwork, and meeting with legislators. Carter is currently the Director of Operations for Immunocompromised Association, Advocacy & Accessibility Director of Stripes of Solidarity, and Secretary of the Board for Collagen Advocacy Network.
With their office assistant, Luna, they work on advocacy-centered projects with nonprofits, community groups, private companies, federal agencies, and other advocates to drive forward change. They are especially passionate about projects centering disabled, mad, and 2SLGBTQIA+ voices.
